In 2008 I had one of my entries in the Digital Photographer magazine end-of-year competition published in the black-and-white category of the yearbook.
I have written about this in a previous incarnation of my blog, and the article deals largely with the seeming hypocrisy of amateur photography magazines selling their readers the dream of becoming professionals earning money with their passion while at the same time selling magazines filled with free (unpaid) contributions from those very same readers.
